I am a photographer who's been shooting seriously since the late 1990's. Stylistically and conceptually I am influenced by movies: Jean Rollin - Jess Franco - Borowczyk - Catherine Breillat - Alfred Hitchcock - Paul Verhoeven - Kenneth Anger - John Waters - Luis Bunuel - - James Bond movies - blah blah blah
I like my pictures to be colorful, dynamic, somewhat peculiar, and cool. Sexy is usually a plus, too. Everything depends on the model. We make the pictures together so I always want to incorporate my model's ideas into the shoot. Pictures are transient fantasies - not real life. Let's make stuff up!

So I have lots of pictures to process. Been backlogged for a few weeks. I blame the total mess that is my office. Tons of papers and pictures and cameras and stuff everywhere. I can't concentrate! And each day I've been putting off photo work until I get the mess under control. And I was almost there before my trip, but once I got back, everything went everywhere again. I'm trying to keep only necessities, but can 98% really be essential? Any ideas? Please share...

happy with this latest batch o' pictures I uploaded here. A lot of the other stuff from this shoot was traditionally sexy and cool, but the pictures I most wanted to see were the ones where I tried new things. So these new pictures were done with long exposures and flashes coming from a couple of cameras while the lens was open.
